This division is responsible for the development of sounding rockets for scientific and technological applications in first plan and it accomplishes the function of aiding the didactic division as for the use and development of rockets. Now this division possesses two main products, AATv1 in qualification phase and patent pending and AATv2 in phase of flight tests. 

Rocket AATv2 have range between 5km and 7 km is an Upgrade of the rocket AAT/IFFv1 projected by Acrux and integrated by the Fluminense Federal Institute, with the objective of throwing an environmental probe for 1500m where this obtained full success already in second test flight, with recovery of useful load and data.   


Rocket AATv3 have vertical range between 30km and 50km, is a rocket with ends scientific, technological and didactic. The basic kit includes the propellant load, the vehicle with recovery system and the board computer with system of acquisition of experimental and flight data. The payload for this vehicle is in the strip of 5kg.

• LRE

In this field of application Acrux was creating partnerships with Russian, Indian and Brazilian professionals for the formation of a team for development of applied LRE components, now the largest progresses in this field have concentrated in the pressurization system through Turbopump,
however due to the high necessary investments and to the quite restricted market to these products Acrux is awaiting agreements of purchase intention or recruiting of services to give continuity to this field

• SRE

For this subdivision the demand is larger due to the use in the sounding rockets and in didactic rockets besides these products the company is working in solutions focused for Rockets for Aid Takeoff for UAVs, where these can be coupled in the area of payload bay of the aircraft and to provide a safe takeoff leaving of ramp or a support, now the company comes studying engines for UAVs of 5kg to 75kg.

Acrux through their several partners and collaborators is acquiring experience in the development and production of structural and aerodynamic components of UAVs in composite materials based on carbon fiber and aramid, epoxy resins and foam nuclei. The processes more commonly used for prototypes of these pieces are split into two molds and vacuum bag. Another contemplated field is the applied materials at high temperatures, where Acrux possesses studies mainly for use in nozzle and insulating of Solid Motors, and materials for combustion chambers and turbines of LRE.
