With the intention of representing our company, was chosen the name of the star more lightning of one of the constellations more known by the Brazilians, the South Cross, or in Latin Crux, where the star denominated by alpha crusis, or simply ACRUX, also represents the São Paulo state in the Brazilian flag, being like this a homage to the state headquarters of the company.
Today Acrux Aerospace Technologies is inside of Incubator of Projects and Technological Companies of the Aerospace area - INCUBAERO, headquartered in the General Command of Aerospace Technology - CTA, in the city of São José dos Campos/SP in Brazil. |
Acrux was created with the primordial objective of supplying solutions in propulsion area for sounding rockets and launchers, however, the group is qualified to assist projects in the area of environment sounding, meteorology, climatology, geoengineering with use of small rockets and small UAVs, solid and liquid engines, aerospace structures, optimization and development of products, and finally the application of these technologies in materials and didactic equipments, as return of the social concern of the company. All of the divisions of Acrux possess an or more specialists supporting or leading the activities of your respective division, allowing this to close the cycle of development of products and services of our company.
